Here again the differences between HTML and XHTML tag styles stand out. HTML break tag was just <br>. There is no such thing as a </br>, but XHTML requires the tag to be closed, so the tag is <br />. Notice the space and the "/". |
Non Breaking Space
(non-breaking space) has a special
purpose. It allows extra spaces between characters. The semicolon is REQUIRED. Also many times the character is used as a filler "dummy" character. like between <p> </p> or in an empty table cell like <td> </td> . |

Hiding Text (Adding Comments)
